Kids will get wet and
wild during this
fun-filled week! While
exploring five
water-filled Bible
stories, kids will enjoy
a variety of activities
that will involve
water: crafts, snacks,
games and stories! The
week will include one
afternoon at the local
pool, an afternoon of
service, plus lots of
water balloons, squirt
guns and sprinklers!
Campers should bring
their own lunch.
Daily snacks and
beverages will be
provided. |

Bear Creek Camp, an
outdoor ministry of the
NE and SE PA synods of
the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America, will
send a team of
enthusiastic,
Christ-centered
counselors to Gloria Dei
who will lead an
exciting week of
faith-focused learning,
worship, music, arts &
crafts, games, and
nature activities.
Campers should bring
their own lunch.

Our VBS this summer
will provide our young
crew members with the
opportunity to
participate in Christian
community, teaching them
the value of Christian
service, and introducing
them to the ministry of
Habitat for Humanity.
Children will assume the
role of construction
crew members and will be
divided into building
crews. Jr. Crew members
(age 3—5) will be in
their own learning
environment. The older
crew members will rotate
between job sites and
learn from engineers.
Each night will start in
the Sanctuary with the
Briefing of the Day that
will include skits,
lively music and
prayer. Then it’s on to
the Blueprint site
(Bible activities),
Break Time (recreation &
games), and the Hard Hat
area where the crew
members will create,
assemble, and produce
projects which will
provide for the needs of
people in our community. |

child. Multiple camps
may be selected on one
registration form.
VBS should be paid in
full upon registration.
$25 non-refundable
deposit per weekly
summer camp at
registration. Balance
due one week before camp
begins.

Church. In the memo
portion write “Summer
Camp”. Drop off
registration form and
your payment at the
church office or mail to
church address.

Saturday Night Praise:
From June through August, we will be watching a NEST video series covering New Testament Bible stories.
Crossways Preschool:
Using the “Exploring Faith” curriculum, our preschoolers will learn about worship and favorite Bible passages, such as John 3:16, The Golden rule, Matthew 7:7, Phil. 4:13, and On Eagles’ Wings.
Crossways Kindergarten thru 5th grade and Cathedral service:
Each week this summer our young disciples will enjoy activities designed to help them experience the importance of Stewardship.
These activities will include kid-friendly Bible stories, cool games, videos, crafts, drama, loads of laughs, lots of friends, all in a Rainforest environment!
