Ways to Get Involved
20s & 30s Group
When & Where: Various times throughout the year, off-site
Why We Gather: Connecting with others as an adult isn’t always easy, so we create a relaxed space to meet new people, share great food, and have real conversations.
What to Expect: Gather at a designated spot, order some snacks and drinks, and dive into a casual discussion about what it means to navigate life at this stage—plus, occasional trivia! Dinner is on us, so don’t worry about your budget!

Senior Ministry Lunch & Learn
When & Where: Third Friday each month from 12-2 PM, October through May at Gloria Dei Church
Why We Gather: To provide a space for seniors to stay connected, grow in faith, and engage in new learning opportunities.
What to Expect: Enjoy a pizza and salad lunch (dessert is potluck-style), while hearing from guest speakers on topics like health, technology, and finding joy in every season. Open to all ages—bring a friend!

Men’s Ministry
When & Where: Second & Fourth Wednesday every month at 8:30 AM at Gloria Dei Church
Why We Gather: To create an intentional space for fellowship, faith, and conversation—over coffee and donuts!
What to Expect: A welcoming group of men of all ages meeting for prayer, connection, and meaningful discussions.

Yoga & Wellness
When & Where: Every Tuesday at Gloria Dei Church
10:00 AM - Gentle Yoga | 12:00 PM - Gentle Chair Yoga
Why We Gather: To promote physical and mental well-being in a faith-based, community-driven space.
What to Expect:
Gentle Yoga: 60-75 minute class. Bring your own mat.
Gentle Chair Yoga: 45-minute class. No equipment or prior experience needed. Arrive 15 minutes early.

Caring for Friends
When & Where: Monthly (typically Monday morning at 9:30 AM) at Gloria Dei Church
Why We Gather: To prepare and plate meals that are distributed by Caring for Friends, an organization dedicated to sharing food and friendship with homebound, homeless, and hungry people in the greater Philadelphia area.
What to Expect:
Volunteers plate meals into trays provided by the Caring for Friends (CFF) organization.
Meals are labeled and placed in the church freezer.
The Gloria Dei CFF team delivers the meals to Caring for Friends in Northeast Philadelphia.
