Your child’s faith matters to us, and we are committed to partnering with you to make church a place where kids want to be! At Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, we partner with parents to:

Sunday School at Gloria Dei
Our Sunday morning programs are designed to introduce kids to faith in a way that’s engaging, interactive, and fun.
Infants - PreK
Meeting Time: During the 10:00 AM Contemporary Service
Location: Toddler Room
Overview: Our youngest learners experience God’s love through play, music, and simple Bible lessons in a warm and nurturing environment. We offer a fully staffed nursery so parents can enjoy service knowing their little ones are cared for.
Important Dates: The Toddler Room will not be available on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Children are always welcome in worship.
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Meeting Time: During the 10:00 AM Contemporary Service
Location: Stage Room on the Kids Ministry floor
Overview: Elementary kids dive into engaging Bible stories, hands-on activities, and interactive lessons that help them understand how faith connects to their everyday lives.
Important Dates: Sunday School will not be available on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Children are always welcome in worship.
When you arrive, stop by the Kids & Family Check-In Desk to sign in.
If it’s your first time visiting, we’ll make sure to show you around so you and your kids feel safe and comfortable.
Parents will receive a secure tag for pickup after service.

How Check-In Works
Children in Worship
We know that every family is different, and some children thrive by participating in worship with their parents.
At Gloria Dei, kids are always welcome in our worship services!
Prayground – A kid-friendly area in the back of the Sanctuary where children can quietly play and color.
Activity Bags – Available on the back pew, filled with fun activities to keep little hands busy. (Please return them after service!)
Instruments for Kids – Parents and children can grab a small instrument and make a joyful noise unto the Lord during worship!

Fall Kickoff
Sunday, September 20
Bring the whole family for a day packed with faith, food, fun, & fellowship!
Begin with the Sunday School & Toddler Room Meet & Greet (doors open at 9AM) followed by one 10AM worship service. Join us after for lunch, games, a moonbounce, an inflatable obstacle course, & an ice cream truck!Fall into a new season of faith!

Children Sing! & Music School
Thursdays, 5 - 6PM | Sept. 24 - Dec. 10
Any child ages 5-12 that loves to raise their voice in song is invited to join us. We will be learning singing techniques, musical theory, and rhythm training.
The choir will participate in church services, dates TBD.Registration opens August 17.

Vacation Bible School
Celebration Sunday on August 2
Thank you to everyone who made the VBS week and VBS Sunday Celebration a success! We had a lot of caring volunteers who made the week unforgettable. Special thanks to Edie & John Hagman and Mary Beth Rodger for applying for and securing Thrivent Action Team gift cards for VBS. It was a wonderful, faith-filled, & joyous week!
