What Is a Church Council & Why Does It Matter?
A Church Council plays a key role in the church organizational structure of Lutheran churches, including Gloria Dei Church.
The Church Council responsibilities include:
Overseeing ministries and worship planning.
Managing church finances and budget decisions.
Strategic planning for the future of Gloria Dei.
Providing leadership support to staff and ministry teams.
They serve as the voice of the congregation, ensuring that Gloria Dei Church remains a thriving, inclusive faith community.
